2. Data Access and Usage from Connected Platforms

When you connect a third-party account to CortexSage, you grant us access to specific types of data to enable our application's core features. Our use of this data is strictly limited to providing and improving these features.

Google (Gmail and Calendar)

  • Data Accessed: Profile information, email content, and calendar event data.
  • Data Usage: We process email content using AI to summarize and generate calendar actions when authorized.
  • CortexSage’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including Limited Use requirements.

Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger)

  • Data Accessed: Public profile and message content.
  • Data Usage: Processed by AI to generate summaries and insights for your CortexSage dashboard.

Slack

  • Data Accessed: Messages from channels and DMs where CortexSage is present.
  • Data Usage: Used to summarize and extract actionable items.

Microsoft Teams

  • Data Accessed: Messages from channels and chats where CortexSage is installed.
  • Data Usage: Used for AI summarization and task identification.

3. Data Storage and Protection

All sensitive information, including authentication tokens, is encrypted and securely stored using MongoDB Atlas. Our security measures ensure that your data remains protected against unauthorized access or loss.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Sharing is limited to essential sub-processors:

  • Groq Inc.: Processes text data to generate AI-based summaries. Data is not stored or reused.
  • MongoDB, Inc.: Provides secure cloud hosting for encrypted data.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained while your account remains active. You may delete your account anytime by emailing contact@cortexsage.com. All associated data will be permanently removed within 48 hours.
